Need a Shop in LA who can work on Big Blocks (FE)
Well, the oil leak has been identified...head gasket leak...and it is leaking but good!
Now I need a recomendation on a good, no great, shop or individual in LA who can do the work.
I saw on another thread JMS Racing, and Ford Performance...are there any others in the Torrance area?
Thanks in advance
Michael

If you still live in Millbrae, call Hall Fabrication and Racing. They work with T.O.E. performance in Suisun City. Lot's of FE experience.

Mike Lefevers at Mitech is great and a very nice guy to boot. He did very well by me and I would use him for any engine related work without hesitation. Located in Placencia (Orange County) I think. If you need help finding him let me know and I'll get you his number.

Dinobyte,
Steve's not far from you at:
Check Point Automotive
3906 Grand View Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90066
(310) 391-9774
Last time I was there, he had one of the GT40's from the Peterson Museum all apart. We have our LA Shelby Club meetings in his shop. He primarily works on BMW's. But, he does hotrods and Cobra's, too. He's a great guy and the scenery is worth the visit.

Thanks again guys...I dropped the car off with Dennis on Friday, and told him don't return it until it is fixed...
When it does get fixed, I look forward to meeting the SoCal group!

Unfortunately, Dennis Cann is retiring, so I will have to search for a new shop to work on and build build big blocks Fords!
Any idea?
