Default Give me a number to call you at?

wrench 87 Give me a number to call you at or call me 732-254-3536 after 8:00 est Rick L. I have this cam in my 482 motor with the shelby heads and the erson rocker arm set. I am running studs for the shaft assemblies. I have FI system. The car is going to the dyno shop next week for fine tuning. I am guessing the hp is about 430 rwhp and about 490-500 ft of torque to the rear wheels from 2,500 rpm to 6,200 rpm. I am running beehive springs on my setup without any float yet. The motor is new and limited to 4,500 rpm for breakin. In a 390 you will have a lopey idle and strong midrange power. You will lose anywhere from 20-60 hp from you sidepipes depending on the backpressure they produce. It is a nice stroker cam Chaplin is running one in his new motor. Waiting for his dyno numbers. Rick L.

Wrench-
I am using a crane hyd roller in my new motor (472 cubes), but not that one- I thought it might be a little too small for a 472, but Rick used it in his 482 so what do I know?? I am using one of their custom grinds that is slightly bigger than that cam, but smaller than their other hyd roller listed in the catalog.

There is a really good series of articles featuring a 390 stroker using that cam- it made for a really nice motor. Go to webrodder.com and search for "FE" or "Cobra Venom" and the articles will come up.

Also, this link has another good article.

Default What do you know???

Chaplin Mike you have 2 kids, wife, house, and a cobra. Even if it is without a motor. Hoping Santa can bring it to you before christmas. Don't know if the sleigh has the room, the wieght should not be a problem. You have a job that keeps you busy. Here is my side, my house is half the size of yours,I am jobless at this time, the kitchen is work in process, no kids but a puppy that is worth 3,800.00 dollars, she went to the vets yesterday to have a plate and 6 screws put in her R/F leg after breaking it playing wonderdog and jumping over a 2 1/2 foot baby gate. No wife, but living togeather for 18 1/2 years. This started on April 1st. Best of all you get to stay at more Holiday inns than me. Ps you are getting it more than me also, you have 2 kids to show for it. Rick
