Will this fuel pump work?

I want an original style look for the motor so here are two questions:
1. Is this manual fuel pump listed on eBay an original style fuel pump?
2. Will this be enough to fuel my Pond 482?

I would guess no. The filter would get in the way. The inlet and exit would have 1/4" pipe threads rather than the nipple. Something like these: Carter M6905 - Carter Street Super Fuel Pump - JEGS

Side note, prices seem to have gone up since the first of the year!

The pump in that link is not correct for a Cobra. It should not have the filter on it. Nor do I think that would support a high power motor.

I also don't think a truely "correct" AC Delco original pump would feed that motor either. Remember, comp Cobras were electric pump only, S/Cs had both mechanical and electric, but your motor is making more power than an original S/C.

If you want to keep a mechanical pump that can feed that motor, and looks somewhat correct, go for the RobbMc. They make great products, I use their starters.

Which RobbMc unit, the 550 hp or the 1100 hp? Keith said my motor should be around 600 hp at the fly wheel.
