Default great deal on a rebuilt 390? or did I miss something!

that's cheap. there's more than $1500 just in machine work if all is done that's said...
Suprized it's not sold already..
I would disassemble it and check everything.. Just to be sure.

a good price, $2K after shipping. The only thing, you have minimal recourse if you get stuck with a turd though.

I emailed he guy and said he didn't want to sell it this cheap but he is in a bind for money. He is also surprised he hasn't sold it yet!

Default The motor weight is way off

Joey_hv It sounds like a good deal. You have to remember it's a 390. That motor is all iron and the weight without the intake is over 400 lbs. An fe 428 motor with iron manifold is in the 640 range, take a 100 pounds off for the intake and you are still in the 500 pound range. It sound like a nice street motor. Alot of work done. Like someone else said I would still have the motor gone through before using it. Sonic check the bores. Where did he get the motor from would be the other question??? Rick L.

I think I would buy this guy and check it out like you guys said...If I didn't already have a 390 I am putting together.
Someone will get a good deal on his though.
