I bet they're all the same. I also would bet that the guy at the DEQ Inspection Center that is assigned to "Kit Car Engine Inspections" knows the answer.

Not a problem.

As one famous lawyer once stated defending his prior testimony, "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is" .

I have the perfect "supercharged engine" double-entendre for a reply, but it would be inappropriate in mixed company. I'm sure you can guess what it is....

Keith, you better raise your asking price, a used 65 block just sold on ebay for $6766.00.
These threads always end up all over the place don't they?

Default 65 side oiler still have it? 612-799-1471

do you still have the 65 side oiler call me @ 612-799-1471
but not the same

so would you say a 1965 sideoiler motor is worth more than a Genisis block with all else being the same.

let me know cause I have a 1965 427 side oiler motor

I guess this might go down the same path as real or replica.

I am not trying to strat this just asking just in case I ever sold my motor[/quote]

I still have the NOS side oiler block and I am just trying to be fair about the price. I always tell people that we will not be the cheapest nor the highest but somewhere in the middle. I like to under promise and over deliver because anything else does not seem to make the customer happy. I wish I could get treated in my own dealing as well as I try to treat my customers. I have some stuff on my house that has not lasted as long as the engines we build along with a few other things.
I will also have a 1967 date coded side oiler complete engine done pretty soon that will have all orignal 427 stuff on it like they had in the orignal Cobras. I am doing the original MR heads, Side Winder intake, damper, front cover, valve cover and even Daytona style carburetor. It will be complete of the dyno and should be in the 14,000.00 range.
Merry Christmas and Happy New year. Keith Craft
