undy - did you personally use them?

My427stang - sorry to hear your problems with them. I purchased mine about 3 years ago, no special length pushrods needed and geometry was good, no interference issues. The quality seemed similar to other non-bushed rockers I used in the past.
I paid $462 at Summit when I got them and they were well worth it.

Nope, i was going to buy them and they were out of stock everywhere at the time. I was still going to wait for the Cranes but negative reports started rolling in on fordfe.com so I went with the Ersons. I got the Ersons for $525 at the time.

I guess I lucked out with my set, which is usually not the case for me!
I am buying a set of ersons for a 482 I'm putting together now, I will be running more lift with it and higher spring rates, so the bushless rockers wouldn't do.
Too bad you can't get the ersons for $525 these days.

No big deal, I took a chance so I could save the next guy a buck, but now I wont recommend them, and certainly not put them on a motor I put my name on

This was more than me not having luck though, I worked with Crane for a couple of months, then sent them to their engineering guy, to include dimensional data for Harland Sharp and Dove/Comp so they could compare.

Who knows, maybe they made some changes on later sets, because the ones I had sure wouldnt have worked for you, and the wear was horrible just turning the motor over.

The amount of time I had measuring and documenting for Crane, I should have got paid for the rockers, but I knew Ersons were better all along, I was just looking for a cheaper alternative for milder motors.
