Default Reverse Engineering Radiator Hose Numbers

When I was building my car, I went to the auto parts store with a template of the upper & lower rad hoses I needed and got the closest ones I could find which worked out well. I have the hose numbers, but if I'm out of town with a problem and a store could not cross the part numbers I would be SOL. How do I find out what cars these part numbers were for?

Lower hose- Drive rite C71556 From Advance Auto Parts
Upper hose- Drive rite E71901 Advance Auto Parts or Motorcraft KM-3047 F65Z-8260-BA

Thanks,
Anthony

Have you called up a local Ford dealer with the Motorcraft #? I would think they could input that into their 'puter and it would provide a cross-reference to what it fits.

Anthony,

If you still have the templates, you should be able to take them to the parts house and once they find the hoses they should then be able to tell you what vehicles they were designed for. And as Red said, the Ford dealer should be able to find that hose for you.

Uhh, I thought it was common knowledge that the C71556 fits the upper hose needs of a 1993 Ford E350 Econoline Super Wagon with the 7.3L engine in it. Jeez... thought everybody knew that.

Default Thanks!

Thanks guys. I have a good list now to get me out of trouble.

Whats cool is I went to a bunch of random hoses to build my random car, and ended up with all Ford hoses!!
