Default FE Intake with no casting number? COBRA

I have this sidewinder intake for a FE, but it has no casting numbers and on the top of the intake it has COBRA in raised letters on it. Any idea of what it came off of or what it went to? Thanks Steve

If I'm not mistaken sidewinders never came on a car. They were dealer parts item. I think Shelby also had a sidewinder with the Cobra logo, but it was likely just a relabeled Ford part that had Cobra cast into it instead of the Ford #.

The sidewinder I believe was made in several variations ( all of them over the counter as said before), some with just a casting number, others with "SHELBY" in block letters, some with Cobra, and I think some with CShelby script logo.

Some have a full plenum divider, and others have notched plenums on the secondary aspect, like the one I have, with "SHELBY" in block letters, for I believe the holley 3 bbl carbs, and ? alittle better high rpm HP.

The Corvette people were completely demoralized."
