A friend of mine has made a hobby business out of digitizing old 78s and Edison cylinders. The results he gets are astounding.

PS. If you didn't see it you should watch Ken Burns' Country Music series. The old recordings they dug up for the first part of it were amazing.

I repair classic consumer electronic equipment.
I suggest you replace the power supply capacitors in your amps and receivers.
The oil in them dried up decades ago.
They sell kits with all caps needed.

Back to Finishline...

With the history if someone wanted to spend the time and money you could go to the state's attorney general (which usually is the home of the consumer protection and licensing bureau) and open a fraud investigation. There is certainly enough history here to support it.

The BBB is a waste. He's probably not a member anyway and if so they only just put comments on the page.

Don’t do it Tom.
You’re my age, too old.
Every days your last my friend.
Enjoy your life, customers are a pain you don’t need.
About Finishline
Finishline has had delivery problems for years, old news.
Why we gotta keep dragging them through the mud?
Show us what your building, Finishline bores me.

@Sunman, thanks for the advice on cap's & such. I have a very good "Old School Tech" that goes through my 70's stereo's, receivers, amps, preamp, etc. Believe or not most just need new lamps, a good Dexoit & Faderlube, if the caps haven't leaked or the tops aren't soft, cold solders are checked if no issues they stay in, makes sure everything is up to factory spec's. These things were built like 'Tanks'. He's our age and grew up with these pieces. I think Sunman, my days of projects/building are behind me, I learned that with the first Cobra, a 60% done Classic Roadster, that took 5-years to finish, should have bought a finished Cobra, could have had 5 more years driving under my belt How's your Classic coming along?? Stay safe my friend, Cheers Tom.
