Enzo,
I see that you have an E-M car. I have a couple of questions regarding them that maybe you could help me out with. I have an old kit, around 86, and I'm having a tough time finding tires that won't rub in the rear. The guy I bought it from set the car up with a Ford 9" IRS setup. I'm running 295/50/15's back there and the drivers side hits on the inside of the tire and the passenger just touches near the front of the fender well, only when I'm driving. It appears to have plenty of clearance sitting in the garage but when I take it out, it hits in those two spots, any ideas on tire sizes or what I should do to try and correct that issue.
I'm also wondering what the correct way to mount seat belts would be ? E-M says to just bolt them through the fiberglass panel between the seats and the trunk. That just doesn't sound right to me, what do you think about that ? I would like to get one of your oild cooler kits. What would I need to make it like the originals, I'm running a 427 SO Tunnel Port engine, and do you have the aluminum panels to fit the E-M cars, for the inner nose area ? Oh yeah, before I forget, my car has this weird sort of hump in the tunnel, it juts out towards the drivers seat. When I had it up on the lift, I didn't see any reason to have it, I'm using a toploader. Any idea why it's there and most of all, any reason NOT to remove it ? I have some nice leather seats I'm going to install and this hump would really throw a wrench in the works for that. I'm also looking for some good quality carpeting to finish my interior, any recommendations there ?
Thanks for your help,
Cliff
