Default Jeg's AN Push-Loc fittings?

Question:

Do these work pretty well if you get the hose that they recommend for them?

They say 250 psi. I've never used anything without a standard type of hose clamp before.

Default That's only the couple rating

roger1 Roger that clamp still needs neither a crimp clamp or a screw clamp to keep the hose on the end. This also ONLY work with rubber inner hose. You can use them with Plastic hose BUT have seen it split. Doesn't work with SS line. If you call and ask Jeg's, they can tell you which hose to use. I double clamp all rubber hoses to motor and radiator ends. Rotate them 180 degrees apart. this makes for a strong connection and prevents leaks or lines popping off under pressure if a clamp loosen over time. Rick L.

Yes, they work pretty well. I've used the Aeroquip version for fuel lines.

They are a pain to get on! getting the hose on the nipple is easy, getting the outer part all the way down sucked. Maybe I was doing it wrong... I just remember "don't buy those again" was my experience.

Thanks for the replies.

I am going to give them a try.
I also ordered a 10ft piece of the hose they say must be used with them.

Default Press on fittings

I used these on my EFI fuel lines with no problems, they work great. However I bought the Ford blue hoses and it takes a while to get use it them, not seeing the SS braided lines.

Got them yesterday.
So far, I like them. They were very easy to install and their recommended hose turned out to be Gates which wasn't stated. I didn't use heat but just a little WD40 and they went on without that much effort. It will be a while till I fire this engine so I won't know about how they hold till then but, I'm not expecting any problems.

Gates LOL Hose
