There has been a lot more talk about 8 Stack EFI and Weber look-a-like EFI systems lately. Also I noticed more at the London Cobra show than ever in the past.
An expert EFI dyno tuner I met online has designed and had built an EFI control unit that I believe he totally wrote all the code for. He calls it the Dynamic Efficiency Cognitive or DEC. I asked him if he thought it would solve much of the 8 Stack EFI issues.
His reply: "the dec can theoretically run these engines most likely far better than anything else, the dec calculates aircharge per cylinder and has both aircharge and fuel compensation KAM tables it learns per individual cylinder feedback, it also runs in speed density, maf, and alpha-n, the dec calculates which is most accurate for any given situation and uses that mode until another becomes more accurate. I actually gave the stack setup a lot of thought when i wrote the dec but until i actually run one and test it out i cant say for sure."
So I asked if he would like to tune one. He replied "yea that's cool, within 100 miles of New Orleans would be ideal, tell them to call me on my mobile five oh four six oh six oh five three two
It would be best if they having a running setup to begin with, so we can do a true a/b comparison and also work out any bugs."
Obviously he lives near New Orleans. I can tell you this guy has given me all types of advice and helped me a lot. He volunteers tons of time helping other people learn how to tune their own cars. He also has his own website. Here are a couple links to different areas of his website.

If someone has a 8 Stack that they want to improve its run ability and they don't mind taking it to New Orleans, this is a great opportunity. This guy knows his stuff and is as big of an enthusiast that I have ever met.

Anyone tuning any EFI should look at this site!
