Fuel Pump

What type of Fuel pumps are you using? I am using an Aeromotive and it is LARGE and I'm having a hard time finding a place to fit it.

Depends on what you need for pumping capacity. How much do you need to run in gallons per hour or liters per hour (gph/lph) and at what pressure?

All good questions of which I wish I knew the answers. It is for a TWM Fuel Injected 427W with a FAST system. So volume is not really as important as fuel pressure. I dont know what the worign pressure is yet (as the engine is stilln ot in the car)

Most FI systems run in the 40 or 45 psi range and there are a lot of pumps out there that will do that. Take a look at the Mallory 4261FI which is rated at 255lph/67gph at 40 psi just for starters. It's about 6 inches long and about1 1/2 inches in dia.

I have a fuel pump, I just need to find a place to fit in in the confines of a BDR.The aeromotive pump was supplied with the FI "kit" I purchased. It wil be a tight fit in the rear in front of the fuel tank and behind the diff. (I started a similair "location" thread under the BDR page)

I used the Malory pump supplied by Mass Flo.
