Default Air Horns & pcv

Mel, There isn't a place on the manifold, but I don't see why you can't put a rubber grommet in one of the valve covers and mount it there!

Rod, That's 10% off the complete order. Here are the pictures. The one with the screen filters are the nostalgia horns.

Al, please forgive me, but other than the screen filters, is there a difference between the standard air horn and the nostalgia air horn? Those two pictures look very similar. Thanks.

Rod, No problem, I was kind of vague. Go on my site, www.thormotorsports1.com the second picture down on the right is nostalgia horns. The FE horns are shorter than the ones on the Chevy, but the tops are the same.

So, just to be crystal clear, the standard air horns are shown on the Chevy 350, but the FE version of the standard air horns will be shorter? Also, which one lokks more like actual Webers? Thank you.

The standard air horns are the full radius horns the nostalgia horns are like the old weber horns like the ones on the 350 Chevy kit but there the same lenght as the 427 full raidus horns.
Hope this helps

Rick, I'm a dumby, so bare with me. So you're saying that the Chevy 350 picture has the original Weber appearance or what Al @ Thor calls the nostalgia air horns? Sound right? I don't know what "full radius" means. Thanks for the help.

yes the Chevy kit has the nostalgia horns, look at the 6.1 Hemi kit those horns are the ones that come with the big block 427/460 kits as a nostagia horn the full radius horns you can see on the 427/460 kits on his website.
Two different styes of air horns, hope this helps

Default Nostalgia air horns

Rod, The air horns on the 6.1 Hemi setup pictured below are the same ones we use on the FE throttle bodies. I don't have a picture handy of an FE setup with nostalgia horns without screens.

So, if I want the setup to look like an old Weber setup, then I do NOT opt for the nostalgia air horns for $400 more? For some unknown reason, I'm having problems getting this through my thick skull.

Al, how many orders towards the five do you have now? If you're not close, then I should stop asking those dumb questions of mine.

Rod, Sorry, I wasn't clear again. The 6.1 Hemi setup in my last thread has nostalgia horns on it. They are an option with screen filters for $400.00. The standard horns are the ones with the big flair.

I like the nostalgia horns, but prefer the look of the standard horns! Just my preference!

You could put me down for a 351 kit, do you have any other orders and how long are you going to have them at this price?

Al had one order as of 2/28/08 and the offer is good until 3/15/08, but he needs five orders. I'm fence sitting at the moment.

March 15, 2008 (tomorrow) is the deadline on the 5 or more 10% deal/discount. I'm still screwing around and fence-sitting.

Al, how many takers do you have?
