427 FE HR Heads Fuel Injection?
Are there any manifolds available for HR heads that are setup for FI and fit under a superformance hood?

What kind of FI are you thinking of? I have an FE with high riser heads with stack injection.
If you are thinking throttle body, it should bolt right up to your high riser manifold. I have a Dove "tall and terrible" that I was running before the stack system. You could weld bungs for the injectors.

At this point I'm pretty open to all suggestions, any kind will do. I just wanna know all my options with the HR Heads. and I don't want to modify the hood.

Are the HR heads original or aftermarket? What brand?

You can convert an old mechanical fuel injection system to electronic. Algon intake would be the easiest to use, I think 1 7/8" throttle bodies. Hilborn made a set up as well, larger throttle bodies 2 5/16".

Contact Wayne Presley at VeryCoolParts.com. He is the guy who helped me with the manifold, throttle bodies and electronic ignition. You cannot go wrong by talking to him. He knows fuel injection and a high riser head application.

Hello-My name is Don Bevers. My wife, Cathy and I have recently seen a 30-yr dream come true by purchasing a Superformance MKIII roadster. Our racing background goes like this-two NHRA Div. 7 superstock wins, one national event runner-up at Pomona, eighteen superstock B/Modified class wins including two at Indy. Multiple NHRA national records including the current one in SS/BM at 8.35/165. These are all with small block Fords.
About a year ago we started a machining business focused primarily, (for now), on custom automotive parts including manifolds and kits. (U-weld). I am presently working on a 3-piece billet unit for the Fe Ford using the TWM individual runner injector system. This unit is designed for the H/R head including the Blue Thunder M/R 428 high port head.
Plans call for a machined wax mock-up of this probably this weekend to verify tool-path.
Garry of TWM has agreed to show one of our completed units with his system installed on it at the SEMA show in Nov.
If everything goes well, production units could be available in 4-5 wks.
By the way, you all have very interesting topics to discuss here and I look forward to participating in the future.

Don, would love to see your manifold. I have a billet 3 piece FE manifold on my FE. I have Dove high riser heads with VCP stack injection.
Post some pics as soon as you have some.

That's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! I don't know if I should quit now or not? Can you disclose it's creator?

Don,
I could not find a suitable manifold for high riser heads and found a guy who had already machined the head plates and was working on the water tray. At the time, I was only looking for a stack manifold and low and behold, he was building a 3 piece for a race operation. We made a deal and this is the result. Needless to say, I am very pleased.
I don't mind you contacting him....tell him Russ sent you. He is Paul Swartz. His company is www.swartzracingmanifolds.com.
