Default Temp gauge help

I am attempting to locate the temprature gauge sending unit for a 2005 Mustang GT with 4.6 SOHC engine. I have tried all the search engines without sucess in an attempt to find its location. The gauge is not functioning at all. Where is it located on the engine specifically. What is entailed to R&R it. Thanks in advance

The two large hoses exit the top front of the engine. Drivers side goes to bottom LH side of radiator, passenger side goes to top of RH side. No sensors anywhere. Someone said under the intake manifold, another individual said at rear of block. I knew ther was a reason why I didn't like computor controlled engines???
