Hello friends - I am looking for ways to make my car more comfortable to drive as a shorter (5'-4") driver. The Backdraft appears to be set up for someone who is more in the range of 5'-9" to 6 foot plus. In the stock configuration, I have to move the seat up so far, in order to fully depress the clutch, that the steering wheel is in my chest. Doing so puts the shifter in my armpit. As you can imagine, this is not a very comfortable driving position or a very safe one.

Has anyone done any modifications to the clutch and brake pedal that moves them forward toward the seat to accommodate a shorter driver? Any suggestions on how to do so? Yes, I know that I could put "blocks" on the pedals but that seems to be pretty hokey.

Appreciate any suggestions you might have.

That's just what I did! Waiting for a car transporter to be in the area of Cape Cod to bring it to VMS.
