I think you would be fairly safe utilizing the port in the filler line IF it is low enough on the fill tube so as not to cause splashing up towards the gas cap. You definitely need a return line though. That FI system requires a whole lot (probably over 35lbs. closer to 45lbs.) to operate the high pressure fuel pump correctly. Good luck, I just took an EZ FAST system off by BDR and replaced it with a 750 Holley. I'm not too much into the "tech" aspect of ecu's and programming but I can tune a Holley. Good Luck!
