Pretty nice weather in Ottawa this weekend (Oct 17-18), sunny and dry, so I had the Cobra out for a two-hour spin. Gettin' mighty cold though. Am wondering how much more use I'm gonna get outta the beast before I hafta cage it up for the winter.

When are you guys planning to lock up your Cobras for the season?

I'm gonna play it by ear and see how deep into Oct-Nov I can go, before filling the tank with Sta-Bil, removing the battery, and covering up the vital bits.

Spent the whole day out in the Cobra, today. Hooked up with the Highway 43 Car Club in Kemptville and cruised up to Calabogie Motorsports Park where we did some gentle laps while the racers were in for lunch. What a blast!

Mighty cold though. Set out this morning at 8:30 while it was -3 degrees, where it stayed until about 1pm. Wore my ski jacket, toque and gloves and stayed warm, sorta. But it was worth it. The sun shone all day long and the roads were marvelous, tight and twisty. Met some good folks too.

Hope there's a few more days like this before the snow flies.

I had the Cobra out yesterday (Nov 1) for a couple hours drive, but filled the tank with Sta-Bil when I put 'er back in the garage. Not sure if that's it for the season, but I'm not expecting many more days when I can get 'er out there. Sigh.

Are you guys still driving yours?

Yeah, the weather forecast is looking good for this weekend. Am likely to take 'er out for another rip. Can always add more Sta-Bil later.

It's supposed to be +8C tommorow here in Medicine Hat , Alberta. I think I'll take her for a rip one last time and allow myself some space in the garage to move some stuff arouns before winter. Will take her out as long as the weather holds above +5, sun and no wind.

Had the Cobra out one more time today (Nov 22). Mighty cold, but still lotsa fun. But I think that's it for me. Gonna hafta wait until spring...

Took the Cobra out of the garage for its first drive of 2010 on March 19. All told, it didn't have to sit for long, really.

It felt GREAT to hear it rumble to life again!
