I just got my cobra on the road. I've put about 600 miles on it and the 4.6l 4v cobra motor just does quite do it for me. I've got 3:73 gears in it with a locker. Does anybody have an idea if I can get the hood to close with a Kenne Bell twin screw on top. The fellas at Kenne Bell cant give me any dimension's. The other options is a Vortec which I know will fit but I was hoping to gain a little low end torque. The car was half done when I bought it and the gentlemen told me that the motor was built and at 500hp but it is a new bone stock 4.6l about 270 at the wheels. I don't think I can swap the motor without removing the body (to wide ).
