Fellow CCX Owners & Enthusiast's,
I'm finally beginning assembly of CCX33749 after being stored for 24 years. It's a coil over car with a Delrin kit kit & the manual doesn't detail on how to assemble it. It was ordered as mostly a "Basic Home Builders" kit back in 1994 & some parts are missing & don't make sense on how they fit.
I'm asking for help from knowledgeable owners or folks familiar with the coil over cars to help answer the following:
1. Do XKE ball joints go in it and is there a unique part that fits into the upper control arm "fork" that the ball joint mounts into?
2. How does the Delrin UCA bushing kit assemble. I have polymer bushings, washers & machined pieces but no directions.
3. The rear suspension trailing arm brackets don't seem to fit right. It looks like the 5/8" threaded rod that mounts the lower control arm should line up with a hole in the frame & they don't.
I feel I need to look at a completed car & take pics to understand.
