I do have deep dish wheels that I like lots and yes I have a C3 unit. VanSteel measured a leaf spring and came up with app. 47" between mounting points, on the trailing arm. I get app. 42". The picture is not the greatest however you can see the depth, about 6" on the rear wheels. I have 15x10's.

I think I also should be able to lower my ride about 2" when I go to coil overs. First I need to remove the springs so I can travel the wheels up and down. Then I can look at my wheel clearances.

That's an invalid link for pic. C3 also had offset trailing arms available. Let you use wider tires and wheels.

Hotfingrs, I ran across the offset trailing arms. However they seem counter productive as to wanting coil-overs. Talked to Tom today at EM. He told me they are using 12" wide wheels and tires now. I'm for sure maxed at 10".

Hotfingers- My C-4 is narrowed 1" per side, it's also a coilover suspension. The problem with the C-4 is that even narrowed, you still can't lower the ride height, so the rear end is still sticking up in the air. My solution was to have E-M make a new lightweight body. When they glassed in the cockpit I had them lower the rear 2"; basically the body was channeled over the tub. The 335/35s are now completely under the body and the body is down over the tires. To save weight I left out the trunk box, front inner fenders, and cored the entire cockpit. The body is also thinner. This body is basically the evolution of the Rea's body that Tommy has. I'm now under 2400 lbs with the driver and 10 gal of fuel.

You can use the 4 link to lower the body some, I don't know exactly how much, but I had it done this summer. Until I got the rear aligned it was a ***** to drive, toe in and positive camber on both sides.

The tub was laid up using a coremat. It's a very lightweight honeycomb material.
