Hello,
I am in the process of becoming a cobra owner. Trying to decide on which manufacturer, whether to build or buy, etc. any thoughts or help would be appreciated. I am trying to look at used vehicles right now so that I can see what the product looks like and compare and contrast models. I have a question, in reading some posts and talking to some cobra owners there seems to be a dispute over whether the weight of a 427 big block has a negative effect on steering as compared to a 351. Thoughts? I am also concerned about drive ability as well, want something that I can drive on a regular basis and still have good performance. One more quick question. I have noticed that a lot of the cobras for sale have 1500 miles or less on them. Is this something that I should be worried about? Seems to me that if you are going to build a car you would have wanted to drive it more than that before selling it. Is this a potential sign that the car was not built right?

1795, I don't think low mileage should be an issue. I bought my CMC kit in 1994. Had minimal tools and way less knowledge or skills. Because of 26 surgeries and medical bills galore, I'm just getting to the end of my build. I've enjoyed the construction so much I've kinda been looking at something new to build. I really don't want to sell my Cobra but if I were to start another project I probably would have to sell to get the funds. I'm not far from you. Pm me and we can talk sometime.
