Most of you know Coach is building a new shop. It a metal building 60' x 75' with a 20' canopy on the front. He is dividing the building in half with a wall down the middle. The front area is where he will work on his Cobras. It has a 15' x 30' office with a bathroom. The rear area has it's own bathroom. It will be used to give baseball lessons later, after he really retires.
We started eight days ago framing the walls for the office.
Yesterday, Saturday 3 guys drove over from Huntsville and helped. We had seven guys total. Beautiful 70 degree weather. We got the center wall up and some of the plywood on it. Great day. Coach treated us with a BBQ lunch.

Next we'll installing the rough in electrical. Then plywood on all the walls. Trim out the electrical, build benches, paint, furniture, tools, car lift, etc.

Should be enough to keep Coach busy all winter.

Thanks to all the guys who helped. Car guys are great guys!

We started framing the inside of Coach's shop a little over two weeks ago. We have the office framed, rough in wiring, most of the insulation completed. The plumbers will trim out the bathrooms tomorrow. Then we can finish the insulation and cover the walls.
We have the center wall up, most of the plywood on it. We bought the lights for the shop today. Tomorrow Coach will buy the paint. He hates to paint so if you want to drop in and paint, I'm sure he will appreciate it.
We had a bunch of the guys to drop in and help. That's why everything is going so fast. Thanks guys!
I can see a chili party in the near future. Or maybe more BBQ.

Coach and Lawrence has a most of the front of the shop painted. Jeff and I installed the lights and receptacle in the front part of the shop this week. We should have all the receptacles installed and turned on by the weekend. Next week we are going to install the lights in the back of the shop.
