Hey Everyone
Just joined the group today. Moved to Alabama two years ago from Michigan and finally got the Cobra down here this past August looking forward to meeting and talking with some of you guys. I'm in Huntsville.

A little bit about myself. As I mentioned, I'm originally from Michigan and moved down here in 2008. The Cobra sat in storage up there until this past August when I was finally able to get a house with a garage. I have a lovely wife and two daughters.
The Cobra is a Midstates that I started building in 1997 after a failed attempt at building a Classic Motor Carriages Cobra. Unfortunately I got caught up in that whole law suite, loosing my money thing... but... time marches on and the great folks at Midstates hooked me up with a great car. Heck, they even bought all the CMC pieces I had.
The Cobra isn't really anything special. It's powered by a 460 has a 4-speed toploader and a 8.8 rearend. cont....

This winter I'm tearing down the engine and replacing the cast iron heads with some nice aluminum ones along with some suspension upgrades. After 11 years it was starting to show it's age a bit inspite of it's paltry 4000 miles on the odometer. I guess even in storage those Michigan winters are rough on cars. Well, that's about it for now. I have some pictures on my profile and will try to add more when I have some time. Thanks.

Welcome! I hope you are liking it here in the South. We have a great group of guys and gals, from all over North Alabama, who get together just about every Friday Night here in Florence and go to dinner together. Of course, with "winter" coming there aren't many shows left to attend but that just makes way for the "Want Lists" to start. Can't wait to meet you. Have a great Veterans Day. ~Ginger
