Bill (the owner) wants to know when we are coming to eat. He wants to know when the Ky Cobra Club is coming back. He will get a band for us if we come on Saturday evening. Just let him know when and he will have all the food we want ready. I think he has fish and chicken on the menu now.
He is building a out side eating area and hopes to finish it in the next few months.
Side note for those who don't know. The Ky Cobra Club drove to Florence,
Al last year and spend three days with us. Friday night we drove to the Hickory Barn to eat. The next Monday a tornado destored the Hickory Barn building. Bill and Mary moved 3 miles down the road and opened up in a 6,000 sq ft building.
back to to my story;
We visited with everyone and I bought three racks of ribs. Best ribs in the South!!!!
When I left I hit the rev limiter in first, second. I wanted Bill to hear me leave. He loves the sound of a motor at 6K.
80 mile trip today (middle of Jan) in a Cobra! Not bad.
