Been a long time since I've been here, I see not much has been going on. Anybody doing any winter projects on their cars? I'm doing my interior over again, making it two tone, brown carpeting & tan vinyl. I want to get some nice floor mats for mine, can anyone tell me which ones fit our cars?

Hey Juggernaut,
It has been long time. I'm building a new 427w engine for mine, I was going to rebuild the engine that is in the car but couldn't stand for the car to be tore down that long.

I did install a wind blocker that really helps with the turbulance, I'll try and post pictures of it later.
On the floor mats I heard too many bad stories about the mats sliding up under the gas pedal so I made my own using carpet and a polyurethane board i got from the upholstery shop. It fits the floor pan so it dosn't slide around and can be taken out for easy cleaning.

Hi Darren,

Stepping up to a 427, huh? That'll make your Cobra scoot right along!

Good idea about the floormats, my Cobra is in the shop as we speak having the interior redone, they're also going to make floormats like the ones that you mentioned!

Would you be interested in going on any cruises with us again this year, if so, just let me know.

Hi Guys,

I posted a couple of pictures from last Saturday form a cuze we made to Pops on Route 66. Can you believe it was 70 degrees last saturday. We had 6 cobras and a cobra Torino. Mine has the hard top. Got lazy and did not want to remove it for the day. We are slowly building a cobra club here in OKC. This summer lets see about getting a group together.

Hi guys! I recognized the picture that Don posted from Pops.

The group I hang out with is planning a Rt. 66 cruise from Sapulpa out to Arcadia on April 16th. Maybe we can meet you guys at Pops, I'll keep you guys informed.

Don - I recognized your Cobra, but who owns the others? Good luck forming the Cobra Club, can us folks from Northeastern Oklahoma join in? Also, if you guys want to get together this summer, please let me know.

The hard top is from RUCC. Roger purchased a top from Mid-States and fitted it to the car. Then made a mold and I got his proto-type. I had to put in the back window and the inside still needs to be lined.

Any of you guys are welcome to join the group. We realy just got stated last October. Mostly do things around OKC but are open to just about anything. For sure will make Hallet sometime this year.
