For those who made to Tulsa for the Shelby Meet, how did everything go besides it being hotter that he!!.

Stinks that we didn't get to hook up,

Had a blast at Hallett

. We got in on Thursday about 10:00. Got the RV hooked up and spectated. Man it was hot

Ran Friday. Had a solinoid fail and do to the heat my fuel pump stated to stick the bypass on the last run. All in all it was a success. Kept all four wheels on the track and the shinny side up. Added some photos of our cars. Chris' is a hurricane.
Also saw Roger! He helped me diagnose the solenoid failure. It was shorted and sending power out and causing my fuel pump to not shut off with the key. He and his family are doing well. Oldest daughter is at OCU and I don't recall where the others at.
He commented about getting started again with the cars. I look forward to that

Need to plan a car show. I am willing to travel to T town if you got a good one.

Don, glad to hear everything went well. Love those pictures too! Sounds like your Cobra did very well on the track with only a solenoid failure. Wish I could have been there.

Good to hear Roger is doing good & I too hope he starts building cars again, he has a quality product!

As far as car shows, there is a big one coming up in August, probably be at least 200 cars there. I highly recommend that one. They even have a "Kit Car" class. I posted the info for it here in our group, look for the "Area Car Shows" thread I started a while back. I can send you a pre-registration form if you want, just let me know. It would be great if you could make it here for that one!
