What is an unfinished Street Beast Cobra worth? I am thinking about selling mine. Due to current circumstances at work, I am not going to be able to continue much on this project at all for quite some time. I just assume sell it to somebody who can get a move on it.

With that said, what's it actually worth?

I've got the following items with the kit:

All documentation (original purchase, vin plates, manufacturers certificate of origin, etc)
Body
Chassis
Mustang II Front Suspension (4 lug, disc brakes, no shocks)
Mustang II Rack and Pinion
Ford 7.5" Rear End (5 lug, disc brakes)
Ford 8.8" Rear End (4 lug, will need rebuild)
Brake booster (x2)
Rear Suspension and Control Arms (unsure of the springs and shocks used)
Steering Column (from an old Pontiac with blue interior...Kinda bulky but we will see...)
6 beater wheels with bad tires (4 4-lug, 2 5-lug)
Full Interior (carpet, seats, seat foam, seat covers, door panels, trunk carpet, etc.)
Lights (can't find the tail lights)
Chrome (roll bar, bumpers, mirrors, hinges, latches, etc.)
Glass (windshield frame and glass, side wind deflectors, side windows and frames for doors)
Wiring Harness
Fuel Tank
Convertible Top and Frame
Car Cover
Pedal assembly (from an MG or Austin Healy I think?)
All Fiberglass Panels
All Hinges/Brackets

I can only speak from my experience. When I was about $18k into it, I threw it up on Craig's list and eBay countless times. I had one guy offer me $10k, but I turned him down. $62k later, $10k was a good offer.

I finally decided, "nobody is going to buy an unfinished car", so I built it and don't think of selling it now.

I know Craig's List will get you plenty of offers to swap corvettes for it: I quit counting.

Throw it up on something and see what you get. Good Luck!

Back when I first started thinking about building a Cobra I did find one abandoned kit it was a POS. Times are changing hopefully you won't have a lot trouble selling yours.

I purchased mine in about the same condition with a new crate 302 gt motor, rebuilt ford aod trans, chrome coil over shocks, solid rear complete, mustsng wheels with new tires, and all the streetbeast kit materials for 10k cash. I sold the engine, trans, and most of the extra components including wheels for about 3k, so i ended up with the kit for about 7K. Because compared to a FFR car these kits are such a pain to complete, if I had to do it again i would only offer 8k for everything. On the other hand, when you go full custom, as i did, your car will be much better than a FFR, as mine is.

I purchased mine about two years ago. It was in very similar condition to yours and came with many of the same parts. It also came with two old Ford small blocks and a transmission. I used the tranny but bought a new crate motor to go in it. By the time you rebuild a late 1960's small block, you might as well buy a new crate motor. The seller was asking $12K, said he would take $10K, we offered him $8K and he took it. We would have paid him $10K if he didn't take our first offer. Good luck.
