KSC- Cobra

Hello everyone, I am new to the site and am happy to have found it. My father and I have recently purchased a CMC Cobra kit. The original owner purchased the kit in the early 90's and quickly lost interest. He did very little initial work to the car. Our first concern is the original owner cannot find the build manual. My father and I have restored a number of vehicles but never built a kit car. I've read enough on-line to know that the manual appears to be of little help but we feel just knowing the sequence of operations would be very helpful to us. Does anyone still have their build manual? I would be happy to pay them to run me a copy.

We were cleaning out downstairs last week and ran across the manual for our car.Funny how the knot in the stomach drifted in.It did help some have to say along with a few calls to CMC.

Like others, I purchased a kit from an individual with some items missing. I am in need of a build manual for a Street Beast kit. Understanding it is of little use, I still would like to see how the basics are address in sequence of assembly so as not to get too far into the assembly only to find I should have installed some item earlier.
Any help would be appreciated.

PM me with your email. I took the entire original manual and scanned it into a series of 5 PDFs which I sent to KSC Cobra. I'm pretty sure they are still on my work computer and would be happy to share.

Not to be a downer KCS- Cobra but there is no sequence of operations One chapter is putting in the gas tank then the next is building the seats.

But you can PM me any time if you have questions.

The manual was pure frustration but it still answered quite a few questions.Could almost understand why the customer support was so bad can't imagine how much time that poor sap fielding questions for CMC must have spent with the phone glued to his skull.
Maybe this is part of why I'm so attached to my car.The more frustated I became the more determined to finish the car.

I've either redone or custom made so much of the car I don't think I'll ever market it as a streetbeast because it really is a near custom frame with a highly augmented body, and an all new part no-instructions-professionally-built mechanical.

Speaking of stuff, what did you guys end up doing with the door latches. Did you use the ones supplied with the doors which mount in the center or some other thing which is chromed and mounts to the edge of the door?
