KSC- Cobra

How do you measure the width of your rear end? Is it out to the backing plate or out to the flange where the lug nuts attach? What width did everyone use? Did you use a rear end out of a Fox body or other? Did you use the quad shock setup?

What did steering column did everyone use?

Measure to the axle flanges,and that would be dependent on what you plan to use for wheels.Actually there may even be a standard width the regular forum guys would know.
I went with a narrowed 9" and coilovers,but as I remember you can use the mustang setup.
Steering column, I used a Chev Vega you will see a lot of guys use Ididit columns.

Used Fox body 8.8 rear end. Used the 4 link set up, but upgraded to tubular 4 links. Only using the 2 shock setup for now. I might put back struts on, have not decided.

Used Ididit steering column.

Actually would like to raise our column from stock location with seat adjuster removed and bolted directly to floor.With the top off it is very easy to get in and out of the car.The top on an other whole story even then there is a method.Cannot imagine what it would be like with hot sidepipes top on and in a hurry climbing in and out of these cars.
