460 oil pan

Those of you with a 460, what oil pan are you using? The one I have is the original from a 68 Lincoln. It seems like it hangs pretty low.

I used a Canton racing pan with side kickouts. The low point on our car was the steel bellhousing flange.Trimming it off gained an inch now it the same height as the header flanges.

What do you recommend for motor mounts? I believe my dad used the mounts that came from the 69 Lincoln. I am sure there are a variety of styles.

If they will bolt in and are fairly new use them.

My oil pan is stock, but I cut out most of the drop down part and re-welded. Gave me at least an inch or two. I installed a drain plug kit. Did that back in
04' also trimmed the bellhousing which helped a ton. As far as motor mounts Street beasts tech told me to use 1974-75 Gran Torino 460. I bought mine from Rock Auto, worked perfectly and they still have em' for $14.00 each.

Thanks, I appreciate the help. I have motor mounts already. Not sure if they are any better or worse then what you suggested.
