Just competed one of my winter projects..Put Hood rivets in just cuz I thought they looked cool.
Learned a couple things:
2" in from edge of hood will put you right over the support channel on our hoods-meaning you dont see any protruding rivet on inside. I used a 2" space between rivets which lined the last rivet up with the start of the hood scoop. meaning 27 rivets.
Used 1/4 rivets and rtv'd them in. Did not want to stress the fiberglass and chip glaze/paint.
