I have a Unique that left the factory as a turnkey in the mid 1980"s spent some time in Pennsylvania and is now in southern Calif. It left the factory as a 427 but is now powered by a 302.

I thought the 427's were late 80's, I know mine was ordered in Dec 1991 and delivored in Jan 1992. And still only has 12k miles on it.

Count me and my GT40 in as members. The Weaver's built my GTD with the help of two GTD engineers from England. It's one of two they built.

I am considering buying my first Cobra. It is a Unique with a 351 motor. Very low mileage(900) and built in 2003. Price around $35 K. Is this a fair price and have you been happy with your Unique built kit?

That is about the price range. I paid 34.500 for mine 2 years ago, and it was built over 18 years ago and still has the engine from them in it. so i would have to say your getting one hell of a deal with the market in your favor.

Hi guys. Great idea to start a Unique group on CC. Our cars are among the best of the glass replicas in terms of body lines, stance, fiberglass quality, overall appearance and ease of assembly. I really love my 21 year old Unique. We need to be a bit more vocal and visible to help ensure the Weavers and their products get the positive exposure they deserve so that they can continue producing the oldest surviving Cobra replicas for many years to come.

looks like it's been awhile since someone posted anything on this forum. I just got my 289FIA last week and it's great. couple of bugs need to get out, but overall great. I'm in the Houston area,so if anyone out there is close let me know. Love to get to know some unique owners or anyone with a cobra for that matter.

Hello Unique guys, I am the very lucky owner of Unique 427 #9294. I bought it a year ago from the original owner. The car was delivered from Unique with a built 427 side oiler with 428 cobra jet heads. The previous owner added a Richmond six speed transmission. I paid $40,000 for it and still consider it the deal of the century, considering the quality of the chassis, jag-style IRS, flawless lines of the glass body, and of course the absolutely perfect powerplant. Nothing even comes close to a Unique...well, almost nothing!!!
