Good evening,
Like the looks of your car and know about Indiana weather - spent the first six month of Air Force in the winter at Bunker Hill, Kokomo. I bought a Unique 05/93 289FIA about a month a go and just bought a soft top Kit from them. Unfortunately it comes without instructions so I am not sure where exactly the holes and mount for the support braces should go. Would you be able to descibe that for me ? And is the front soft top really glued to the holders on top of windshield ? THANKS for any info/insight you can provide.

Mine is a 427 Cobra so the mounting points would be different.

The Weavers have great customer service I bet if you call Alan he could give you a lot better instruction than I could. Yes the top is glued to the holders. My top did not come from Unique, it was custom made in Arizona. They did a great job, it really fits nice and tight.

If you need additional help you can call me at 574-268-4931 and I can describe the mounting procedure. I could also email you some close up photos if you need.

Aloha from another Scot (just one T)! Thank you for starting up this section. I have a 427 Unique with a 427 Windsor with aluminum FMC "Z heads" with a roller cam and lifters.

Is it worth it to buy another trunk weather stripping from Unique to get a perfect fit or should I just buy some generic weather stripping from Napa Auto Parts?

Hi guys, I just purchased my first Cobra and it is a 1992 Unique build with a 351 Windsor built by Jaspers. I wouldnt consider it a show car because it has a paint chip here and there but overall I think it is a solid car. I will surely have many questions for you guys in the near future and thanks for letting me part of this group.

I just bought a Unique 427 sn#9132. Tried to register on Uniques forum a rew days ago with no luck having my account activated yet. I would love to learn about the cars. Mine has the earlier chassis with the rear arms going forward. Alan Weaver said my car was sent out somewhere around 1993. Not sure when it was completed. The car was the subject of a quick thread about a month ago on Club Cobra when it showed up on E-bay. I owned a real cobra 289 COB 6107 in the mid 80s and finally decided to jump in again (at a much more affordable price ).

Hello sracer5. Been trying to get back on Unique forum myself. It was down the last time I checked.
Nice car.

I have been looking at all my suspension components and doing some research. The original Jaguar design is like yours but the Weavers had issues with them breaking if I remember rightly. This was under extreme hard driving.
From what I have read the original design was with rubber bushing which gave the give it needed. It also gave a little toe in when turning. Is yours connected with Heim joints?
Not that you will have any issues.
The rear ones are.
