Hello,
Welcome to the Unique Motorcars Group.
I have had the honor of owning both a Unique 427, and a 289 FIA Cobra and love them both.
I noticed there wasn't a group for Unique, so I thought I would try to start one.
Thanks
Scott

Hello Scott.
Nice that you started a group for Unique owners here on Club Cobra.
Having more exposure here would be nice.
The Unique forum probably keeps most of the owners busy with chit chat and car talk over there.

Hey guys,
I have an FIA, #9226. Small block ford, toploader. I just met the Unique crowd in Gadsden, great bunch of folks. I'm down in South Louisiana.
Thanks for getting a group together.

I just found out about this group. I have a Unique 427, not quite complete, and an FFR Daytona Coupe (oops ... make that FFR Type 65). Had an FFR MKIII roadster with 4.6 DOHC, put 7,500 grin-filled miles on it, but sold it as I wanted a more original appearing car with a 427 FE under the hood.
Now I have a question. I'm not happy with the black rubber trim pieces around the roll bar holes in the body. Has anyone used the ones from Finish Line ... they only sell a set of 3 round ones, and it looks like one of them needs to be elongated to accomodate the angle bar as it enters the body. I called Finish Line and the fellow I talked to didn't know if there round one would work for the angle bar. What have you guys used?

I have a Unique 1993 build...It's a great car and the Weavers are great people who have helped me many times to update parts with newer and better replacements. Look in my photo gallery for some pics. The car has original paint and not a stress crack in the body.

Garry, I used the ones from Finish Line on the front 2 holes and used the elongated one from Unique for the rear.
