I wanted to see what wheel backspacing people are running both front and rear for 17" wheels on the older West Coast Cobras. Having some new wheels built and looking to maximize rim size.

I have a newer one and run 15" rims. Sorry I can't help. I am amazed at how few wcc owners attend this site. I wonder if there is another forum they would go to ? or is there really not that many around !

gofas, the 15" TEAM -3 rims I use on the rear are 12" wide and I use bfg drag radials in the rear. I can't help with the 17" off-set but you should PM MOHSUKA (Mike) I think he has 17" on his older WCC. I bought his Team 3 15" wheels when he upgraded to 17". Send us pics once you have them mounted I am interested in seeing these.

Sent you an private message but offsets for my 17" Team III's are as follows:

Front Wheels: 6.5" backspace on 17 x 9"

Back Wheels: 3.5" backspace on 17 x 11"

Bolt Pattern: 5 on 4 1/2 Ford

Lug Nut Thread 1/2"

Mohuska seems accurate.
I ordered mine from Vintage wheels of San Diego.
4 1/2 bolt pattern but I messed up as I gave all measurement the same bolt pattern. My rear bolt patter is 4 3/4 bolt pattern. Tried replacing the rear shaft but no luck so I am using adapter on the rear.

315/35 rear and 265/35's 17". American Racing halibrand type. Polished aluminum.
