Jim, The WCC requires a very low intake to run with the low profile cobra hood scoop vern supplies. Don't know which intake and carb you're using but a spacer will require a taller hood scoop. The pic here shows a CC member's solution (not a WCC!) to get clearance on a FI 460 to keep the oval cleaner. You have 2 choices, a taller hood scoop, or use a Edelbrock Torker II Manifold with the carb pad milled down another 0.250 inches. Thats the solution I went with for the street and I'm still not sure that will be enough.(body not fitted) Air cleaner that you use will also impact the distributor you use (there are different height distributors and cap styles you can get for the 460.) Other WCC owners here will share their solutions I am sure, on what they did using the 460 engine.
