I dont have the soft top. My body came with a hard top, I will fit the hard top to the body first, then later have a custom made soft top made one day.

Does anyone here or anyone know of anyone who has a soft top made by a 3rd party? Vern has communicated with me that he will give me the persons name but as of this date has not supplied me with that detail.

Yeah the Donalds shop is near Charlotte NC if memory serves me, but any good convt top shop near you is a better choice. Talk to your local street rod or cobra guys to find out who does convt tops near you, this way they can sort out any issues after the sale. its not that tough for covt top shop.

I'll call him tomorrow to see if I can work a deal. Did you get anything from him? What is the workmanship? I did call an upholstry place that does car tops and marine applications. They asked me about the umbrella rods and side curtain window parts which I don't have any clue about.

Decided not to get a top for now. I agree with kitcarbp, a local shop may be the way to go to eliminate any potential fit issues. let us know how your call went with Donalds.
