I want to buy a West coast cobra kit. I have left voice,mails and sent emails over the past 2 weeks and still no contact from West Coast cobra's. Are they still in business? It says on there website they have combined there Cobra company with a Lingerie company. Does this sound strange or is it me? Have I missed the boat on building one of these? I don't even know how much the kit costs and what is included. Can anyone tell me? I'm Getting frustrated.

LOL, yes they are still in business and yes he has itr linked to a lingerie company. The owner is not the most diligent person to call back. IU suggest that you contact one of the authorized dealers who is very reliable. His name is Perry Adams you can get the info from the West Coast Cobra site.
Be patient these are great kits

I'll write Vern and let him know that he has a potential customer. He's notorious for doing "other" stuff and who knows what his schedule is.

IM me and let me know any details which you want me to convey to Vern.

I'll send something out now and hopefully he'll reply.

If you do get him and buy a car. Get the bare bones car. None of the fancy stuff. Let him answer your questions and do the sale. Bottom line, you want the frame, suspension and the body & Chrome (Bumpers etc.). For the rest of it we'll give you all the information you need. That is if you can get him to sell it to you. If and when you get a body, there is a lot of work to the body. It's not a sand and paint job like Factory 5 or some of the others. The fiberglass has lots of "orange peel" and there is required a lot of work to fill and fit the seams.

Hey 'bly,

I caught up with Vern late last week and yes - the trick is simply catching him by phone. Once you get hold of him though he really does take his time talking to you and walking you through any issues or questions you might have.

I'll be "+3" here in urging you on the West Coast route... these truly are phenomenal cars!

I talked to Perry this mornig and he suggested I email him and gave me a different email adress from the web site. Perry told me that Vern is really good about his kits. Just accualy talking to him is sometimes diffucult. I emailed him and I hope to talk with him soon. This kit really does seem to be everything I'm looking for in a Cobra kit.

Good news ! I got a reply from Vern. He wants you to write an email. Yes, write again his inbox is probably stuffed full. Write him again or call him. And you may need to try a lot.

From his reply to me, It sounds like he's not selling many cars these days.

Hi All:
I spoke to Vern this past week (monday 12 Sept ) and he picked up the phone twice in 2 hrs that's pretty good. I don't know how is the car building busines as someone quoted before but it mseems that his lingerie business is up there

.
He did say that they close his paypal acct because the thought he had a porn site linked to the cars

but he is taking care of all of us who have WC cobras.
