Yeah he gave me that song and dance when I bought mine over 2 years ago about it not being worth building anymore!! Too expensive, can't find people, etc. He still stiffed me for a bunch of parts and pieces, but would not be worth spending $1000 to recoup $500, if you know what I mean. As I have gone through the build, I have improved or modified much (read unVernized), especially the used or rebuilt crap he provided. I know you've done the same!!
If he had even 'Good' customer service, I think the sales and profits would be there. He'd be able to maintain or even reduce prices because he would do more volume. And if he had had "Great" customer service, the WCC would probably only 2nd to the FFR's in popularity. As the Baby-boomers age, we not as interested as much in the "Hot Rod" as much as a more accommodating "Beast"
