Hi guys:
I installed an electric fuel pump in the trunk of my car (driver side inside fender) now the rick is the plumbing from the tank to the pump. It is a bear to do. Any suggestions? I really don't want to remove this tank. The fuel level is lass than half. All the electric is done, the old mechanical pump is still on until the plumbing is finished.
Any suggestions are certainly welcome.
Tks
Lou

What tank do you have? I hope it's not the red plastic one Vern sold me. Is your plumbing on the top of your tank with a pick up tube? If you have rubber hose the plumbing should be easy? Are you using AN Fittings?

My tank is metal with the top fittings (looks that way) yes I will be using A&N fittings all the way. When you say If I have a rubber hose it should be easy is that the hose that comes from the top of the tank and on the side to the line towards the front of the car. I just saw that hose this past week when I change the shocks.

I have 16gl metal tank, I looked in the manual (kellison) that I got from Fred but there is not much as to the location of the top hose. If you want a copy of this manual, send me your email in a PM and I cn email you a PDF copy.

The fuel line runs in the transmission bay under the car, I'd suggest following this back to a point of entry to your trunk. Then you can route new hose to and from your new pump.
