Well, I have a 385 series bumped up to 521 and a torker II intake to fit under the hood. Did some manifold work and decided to port match as the manifold ports are about 30% smaller than the SCJ head ports. What a difference. I did not think it would matter much but idle quality is night and day and overall response is improved bottom to top. I also bumped up initial timing a bit so I violated the "change one thing at a time rule" but this is more than a couple degrees of timing. Need to play more with carb tuning now as it is a bit lean but thought I would pass along. That intake was smothering.

Yup, another to do on my list. The SCJ ports on my head do not fit the Torker 2, it fits the edelbrock Victor manifold used for marine/ racing apps. The victor is too tall to fit under a wcc hood without enlarging the hood scoop which is not what I wanted.
