I am thinking about going to a different setup on my tires and wheels and if interested I would sell them. I have about 1500 miles on them. No problems, no rubbing, I just want a different look on the wheel. If interested send me PM.

Update: Got the rear end all assembled, my buddy helped with the more technical parts like the lash and preload. Got her all assembled and checked fluids and suspension, gave her a test ride.

I'm impressed at how quick this car is, and I wasn't trying to launch it or leave rubber but some spirited driving was all it took to realize these things are fast. The billboards are sticky and with the LSD it launches well. The clutch while heavy (even being hydraulic) worked well and turns out the transmission is a 6 speed. I think the top gear is overkill unless one is going over 80mph, as RPMs dropped to about 1100 at about 65pmh which did not make the engine very happy, so didn't use it.

Update 2: (not sure why this group doesn't take longer message postings)

The fan was wired manual and needed to be run all the time here in warm Houston area. I am planning a mod to make that automatic.

The VDO speedo was inaccurate by 10mph at 30mph (we have a handy neighborhood w speedlimit signs with actual radar speeds indicated) and isn't steady. There is a cylinder head temp gauge and it is not working - reads full range all the time.

The fuel tank is metal, so I guess its been addressed, but will check that tap threads for a leak as a bit of fuel smell noted.

The car was a handful on country roads with uneven pavement, I think it was the super wide bias ply tires. You can control it but it was jerking around some on our back roads which have saggy spots on the outer half.

Overall its quite fun and my friend is happy. You definitely get attention!

Sounds like you're having fun. The head temp is a little thermo-couple bolted to the back of the head. Does not work. I took mine out and added a tranny temp gauge (C6). You can try to loosen the bolt where it bolts to the head and see if that free's it up. They do jump around a little on certain roads, takes some getting used to. Keep an eye on your coolant temp until you have some time in it and make sure sending unit is accurate. Use a temp gun to verify.

I am running Team III 17 inch wheels. I have a post somewhere that gives the offsets. I am running BAER brakes. They are great!
