Hey Guys, Do your cars have the windshield center support mounted and installed ? The Kellison/SE Edition body I am using has a molded in relief where the bracket fits in the cowl with three holes pre-drilled where one was to be installed but I dont have this center support bracket or rod yet. I need photos. I will try to attch pic here. There is one large hole for the rod ?? and two smaller mounting holes ??
This view is from cockpit. My understanding is this center support is needed most when you have the hardtop or softtop installed because you have wind loads pushing on roof/windshield top joint wanting to the rip the w/s frame off. Without a soft/hard roof installed I dont think its needed ???
