Who has installed a Lexan Wind break on the Roll Bar?

On Vern's web site I was looking at a car photo which you can make out a reflection of light from under the Roll Bar. On close inspection you can see that he's mounted what appears to be plexi-glass or Lexan to points on the underside and the inside vertical parts of his Roll Bar.

Have any one of you done something like this? If so, What thickness, and what did you use? Lexan? Plexi?

Funny you ask I am working on a design using 1/2' lexan . I will be using the 3" stainless steel muffler clamps (Jegs) two on the top of the roll bar and one on each side of the roll bar. My dilemma now is preparing the correct pattern so that I have about 1/4 in clearance all around the body and roll bar.

Lou,
You should make a cardboard mock up of the "glass". First cut it roughly the same profile as the rear deck. Place it on the roll bar and use a small wood block to hold a sharpie and trace the contour of the body. Then cut the "line"... Place the bottom edge on the roll bar and then trace out the shape inside the roll bar. Once you've got the cardboard shaped, then that's your template. Lowe's or Home Depot has cardboard boxes.
