This is how my tank is held in place. What is really suppose to hold the tank?

Funny thing, there were no instructions for mounting the tank Rob. Or, as Vern so tersely put it when I asked him for instructions that were missing from the "manual" he sent out "Dirk, call me when you run into something that's not covered in the assembly manual and we'll let you know how we do it".
I got some nice strong battery tie down rods from my local parts store, drilled into the body ahead of and to the sides of thetabs on the side of the tank and hooked the curved rod ends through the side tab holes, then through the body straight ahead and to the side, fastened them with a large washer and lock nut. That way I have resistance to both sideways and rearwards tank movement. The tank stays like it's welded in. Only problem is I did it before I drilled and mounted the four point, so it was a bit of work to undo and redo but well worth the knowledge that my tank is securely fastened.
I'll try to post a couple of pics when I get the car back.
