Absolutely, a top on this car will make it possible to make runs across the state to visit the mountains or a trip to the beach. Summer pop-up thunder storms combined with traffic make a top a "must have". I can drive around town, but a longer trip you need a tarp and bungies. The option for the targa top is also nice. I just need funds now.

I have not yet, still waiting on the top to be made. Last I heard he was getting a Cobra in for a new top and was going to make a template for the west Coast based off of my measurements.

I can't believe that Painter doesn't have any old soft top frames from the previous owner, who shall remain nameless, that we can use as a mold to develop a new top for our cars.

I have an Update, I have heard back from the original builder of my Cobra, he has the top for mine and I will be driving down to pick it up on Sunday (okay I am going to Florida for a week and Georgia is on the way). I will be getting it checked out and installed locally at a custom Convertible top shop. I will have them make a template and suggest he make a few. I will let everyone know how that goes.
