Hello folks:
If anyone is still in this group that can give me a response I would be really appreciated. I am looking to get the dash cover in burly walnut to replace the
black metal that I have in my car. Any ideas as to a source for this part? Here are some pictures. Top one is what I have now (black metal), bottom one is what I would like to get.

I'd search out a good supplier of hardwood lumber, select a good piece of burled walnut and go from there. Alternatively, you can purchase burled walnut veneer and glue it to a lower cost piece of walnut or other suitable hardwood. If you're not comfortable doing the work, then find a good woodworker who can do it for you.
