Basque, I am talking about the tan colored rubber grommets where the bar enters the body on the back. Mine are thin and uneven and dont fit right.

Sorry I did not answer before, but I have been swamped with housework and pool nonsense. The grommets that I have are made of the same color and material as the seats.
Someone suggested to me to place a Stainless steel on them, but that would entail removing the roll bar. While that seems simple, things sometimes turn out to be a pain in the ass.

Based on the positive results posted by BAsque1, I had a windscreen fabed with auto saftey glass. It does help to reduce wind noise and makes it more comfy. There are new pictures in my album, sorry but I'm not smart enough to get pics to post in messages.

open your photo album in another window
right click your photo, choose copy link location, then go to the posting box, click the yellow box that looks like a mountain with a postage stamp at the top.
a dialog box will pop up, right click the box and choose paste, your photo will appear.

The dash is 1/8 inch aluminum. Sorry don't have a better pic right now, and won't be back in Scottsdale until June. Also the dash is 2 piece with butt seam at the center of the steering column.

Truck-Lite 10704 3" Grommet Mounts For 2-1/2" Lamps

I have used these on my roll bar the are for truck headlights, just cut out the inside and use some silicon they are pliable so they fit on the body nicely

You can find them without the stamping on the rubber.

Give us the info on the glass install. Does the glass rest on the body while being held by the track? What's the track made from, and how did you bend it? Chrome after fabrication? ...

I made a template then had the glass cut and installed by a custom car shop.The channel is polished aluminum, not sure how he bent it. There is a tab welded to both sides of the channel near the bottom. There are two metal pins installed to the under side of the roll bar. The glass was installed in the channel and a rubber moulding along the bottom that sits on the body. Then the assembled unit can be installed, top first, and bottom rotated into place. No silicon or anything, just a snug fit. Then the metal tabs are bent around the roll bar and secured with screws. The tabs being low and towards the inside are hardly visible. Hope this makes sense.
